FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:

M.R. Tanner Construction is seeking a Construction Superintendent towork on the west side of Phoenix. We provide 100% health, dental and vision insurance for employee+ company 401K. Come work for a great company! We work almost exclusively in Maricopa County.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Gather and document daily quantities

Coordinate daily and weekly schedules to Supervisor and Clients

Conduct routine site safety inspections to ensure project sites are kept clear of hazards and proper safety protocols are followed

Visit and maintain relationships with owners representatives and ensure proper notification is given for inspections

Schedule all project material needs                         

Schedule and track all subcontractors related to project

Schedule all project equipment and manpower needs

Take photos of project progress and send to PM/PE to be saved in appropriate project folder

Complete appropriate Dust Control documentation

Participate in project kickoff meetings when assigned to a new project

Assist PM/PEs with change orders for new or changes in scope of work

Coordinate and maintain all AZ 811 (Bluestake) utility locates

Required Skills:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Ability to communicate professionally and effectively to staff, management, peers, clients, business partners

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to act confidently and decisively

Team leader with excellent communication skills and ability to handle and resolve conflicts effectively

Strong ability to multitask and prioritize workload efficiently

Basic computer skills are required
