Utilizing a combined 90 years experience in the industry, and through strong relationships and hard work, M.R. Tanner Construction has been successfully completing projects and earning a reputation for high-quality work throughout the greater Phoenix area and beyond for over 15 years.
Prior to organizing M.R.Tanner Construction, Maury and his partners spent several years gaining varied experience in the construction industry.
Maury began his construction career as a young laborer at a ready-mix plant. In the late 1970's, working summers and participating in the formal training program of the Tanner Companies, he increased his knowledge of the construction and materials business.
After several years managing United Metro Materials, Maury was named the President of ATA Construction. He spent five years at ATA Construction before organizing M.R.Tanner Construction.
In 1970, Greg Marsh began his career in the roadway construction industry as a blacktop laborer.
He eventually moved into management positions, first as a project manager, and then as a general superintendent. For five years Greg was the Vice-President of Operations for ATA Construction.
Greg's vast knowledge of, not only grading and paving, but all aspects of offsite construction, has provided a strong foundation for M.R. Tanner Construction.
Kevin Day's experience is similar to that of Maury and Greg.
As a youth, Kevin worked on paving crews for the Tanner Companies. Kevin and Maury met on a chip seal crew one summer while the two attended college.
For several years, Kevin worked with the Tanner Companies and ATA Construction, both in the field and as an Estimator.
His expertise in estimating and pre-construction management was an essential element in the organization of M.R. Tanner Construction.
